Job Title : Packaging Designer – Packaging Development

Industry : Food Industry / FMCG

Location : Bengaluru

Experience Required : 3–5 Years

Job Summary :

We are urgently looking for a skilled Packaging Designer with a strong focus on packaging design and development in the food industry. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in artwork execution, regulatory compliance, and packaging innovation. This role requires close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality packaging solutions. Immediate joiners with relevant design experience will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the development and changeover of packaging specifications.
Coordinate with suppliers for material development, feasibility, and sourcing.
Drive artwork development in collaboration with marketing and creative agencies.
Ensure packaging compliance with PM Legal Metrology (Weights & Measures).
Conduct packaging trials and coordinate with Production and SCM teams.
Oversee quality checks for all packaging materials (incoming / outgoing).
Evaluate new materials and packaging innovations for cost and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with packaging regulations (India / USA / EU and others).
Stay updated with changes in regulatory guidelines and implement as needed.
Support technical troubleshooting and continuous improvement in packaging processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align packaging with product goals.
Select and recommend appropriate packaging materials for various product lines.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Packaging Technology, Food Science, or a related field.

3–5 years of experience in packaging development, preferably with strong hands-on experience in packaging design.

Proven track record in food-grade packaging materials and design execution.

Knowledge of Indian and international packaging regulatory requirements.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project coordination skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and packaging design software.

Immediate joiners will be prioritized.
