Oracle EBS Technical Associate

As part of Walden Digital's growth, we are currently seeking for a highly skilled Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Technical Associate with 5 to 10 years of experience, specialising in the Order Management, Financials, and iProcurement modules. The ideal candidate will have a robust development background, with the ability to design, implement, and support custom solutions that enhance business operations. This role requires a proactive individual who can collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions and ensure the optimal performance of our Oracle EBS environment.

Working schedule :

Monday to Friday . Normal office hours. Please note : the working schedule is based on GMT time zone, as the role provides support to clients based in the UK and EU .

Key Responsibilities

Develop, customise, and maintain Oracle EBS modules, focusing primarily on Order Management, Financials, and iProcurement.

Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the Oracle EBS framework.

Design, code, test, and deploy RICE components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions) and workflows.

Provide technical support for Oracle EBS issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.

Collaborate with functional teams to ensure seamless integration between business processes and technical solutions.

Participate in upgrades, patching, and performance-tuning activities to maintain system efficiency and reliability.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.

Adhere to best practices in software development and change management within the Oracle EBS environment.

Train and mentor junior technical staff as required.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5–10 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle EBS Technical Consultant or Associate.

Proven expertise in Oracle EBS modules : Order Management, Financials, and iProcurement.

Strong proficiency in Oracle development tools and technologies (PL / SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, XML Publisher, Workflow Builder, OAF).

Experience with RICEW components and custom development within Oracle EBS.

Solid understanding of Oracle database architecture and performance tuning.

Ability to analyse complex business processes and provide technical solutions.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with business users and technical teams.

Experience with Oracle EBS upgrades, patching, and integration with third-party applications is desirable.

Desirable Attributes

Certification in Oracle EBS or related technologies.

Experience in Agile or other software development methodologies.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Location & Work Environment

This position is based in India with remote working arrangements.
