Job descriptionLead and supervise a team of technicians, offering guidance, training, mentoring, and performance support. Allocate and prioritize daily work assignments to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential issues and avoid downtime. Develop, review, and implement maintenance procedures, SOPs, and protocols to enhance equipment reliability. Maintain accurate logs of repairs, calibration, maintenance activities, and equipment inventory. Collaborate with engineers, biomedical teams, and project managers on equipment installations, upgrades, and commissioning. Support continuous improvement projects focusing on safety, accuracy, and operational efficiency. Ensure adherence to hospital safety guidelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Maintain a high level of operational discipline within diagnostic / lab environments. Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in diagnostics, laboratory operations, and biomedical systems.
