Role Description

We are looking for an experienced PeopleSoft Security Analyst to provide expert-level support for user access administration, troubleshooting, and security configuration across PeopleSoft Financials and HCM environments. The role focuses on maintaining secure user access, supporting audits, analyzing security during upgrades, and ensuring compliance with organizational and system controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily user security administration across PeopleSoft Financials and HCM modules
  • Troubleshoot user access issues, login errors, and job failures related to PeopleSoft security objects
  • Perform periodic (daily, weekly, monthly, annual) security audits to identify risks and violations of internal controls
  • Remediate audit findings, prepare audit summaries, and communicate results to key stakeholders
  • Define and execute test parameters for system upgrades and patches to ensure integrity of security configurations
  • Support functional and technical project teams by implementing security configuration changes per SDLC standards
  • Create and modify SQL scripts to analyze access data and resolve user account issues
  • Train business contacts on security practices, policies, and processes
  • Provide after-hours support as needed during maintenance windows, upgrades, or go-live events

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle PeopleSoft Security Administration (Financials and / or HCM)
  • Proficiency in SQL scripting for troubleshooting and access validation
  • Deep understanding of PeopleSoft security architecture , including permission lists, roles, and user profiles
  • Knowledge of information systems design principles and application development methodologies
  • Familiarity with SDLC processes and system change control governance
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities for diagnosing access and configuration issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with business and IT teams
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical documentation and manuals

  • Experience supporting PeopleSoft system upgrades and patch cycles
  • Knowledge of audit, compliance, or risk management frameworks
  • Familiarity with automation tools for user provisioning or audit reporting
  • Experience with workflow approval and segregation-of-duties (SoD) analysis
