Role : Akamai Engineer

Mandate Skill : Akamai, Waf

Responsibilities :

Work with project teams throughout the organization to design, implement, manage CDN and Web security using Akamai to ensure high availability, performance, security for customer facing applications and business processes.

Should have 5 years of working experience on Akamai CDN configurations for performance optimization.

Should have great experience on Akamai Web security for managing / fine tuning Security configurations.

Should have Hands-on Experience into below Modules :

Property Configuration(Good Experience on rule configuration and usage)

Edge DNS ,Edge Cloudlets and Edge Workers.

Akamai NetStorage

Akamai Certificate Provisioning System.

API Definitions and Security.

Bot Management, Content Protector

DDOS Rate limiting, WAF and Client Reputation.

Should have the ability to analyse the traffic using Akamai Web security Analytics and recommend the mitigation solutions for attacks.

Ability to work with Application Team and understand the web application considering end user experience.

Work closely with vendor and professional service teams on activities and strategy.

Good to have knowledge on DNS Administration.

Good to have knowledge on Application log monitoring tools like Akamai Data Stream or Splunk.

Experience with Jira, Confluence and ServiceNow.
