About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with strong experience in building scalable, high-performance, and secure backend systems. The ideal candidate should be passionate about clean architecture, writing robust code, and optimizing backend performance.

Note : We are not looking for candidates from JavaScript / Node.js backgrounds — expertise in other backend technologies is preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and databases.
Architect scalable solutions and contribute to system design discussions.
Optimize performance and ensure system reliability, security, and fault tolerance.
Integrate third-party APIs and internal services.
Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure coding best practices.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
Collaborate closely with product, frontend, DevOps, and QA teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

2.5+ years of hands-on experience in backend development.

Proficiency in one or more non-JS backend technologies, such as :

Java / Spring Boot

Python / Django / FastAPI / Flask

Go / Gin

Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).

Understanding of CI / CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).

Good grasp of data structures, algorithms, and system design concepts.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Good to Have :

Experience with message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.

Knowledge of testing frameworks and writing unit / integration tests.

Familiarity with DevOps practices and monitoring tools.
