Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accountant with strong expertise in ERPNext to manage end-to-end accounting operations. The role requires not only sound accounting knowledge but also the ability to optimize financial workflows within ERPNext. You will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting operations including AP, AR, General Ledger, Bank Reconciliation, and Payroll within ERPNext.
  • Record and reconcile sales, purchases, expenses, and journal entries in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Oversee inventory, purchase, and sales modules integration with finance in ERPNext.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory filings, ensuring timely compliance.
  • Collaborate with operations and procurement teams to ensure accurate costing, BOM, and expense allocation.
  • Generate management reports, dashboards, and financial analytics directly from ERPNext.
  • Support auditors by preparing required documentation and reports.
  • Identify process gaps and improve accounting workflows using ERPNext.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (CA Inter preferred but not mandatory).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years on ERPNext.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian taxation laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax).
  • Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets for financial reporting.
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Experience in a manufacturing or retail setup.
  • Knowledge of costing, inventory management, and ERPNext customization.
  • Familiarity with export documentation and compliance.
