Job Summary :
We are looking for a Medical Content Writer who is passionate about healthcare journalism and committed to delivering authentic, well-researched, and accurate medical content. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in medical science and the ability to translate complex medical information into accessible content for our target audience—doctors and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Research, write, and edit daily news articles, features, and explainers on :
- Medical and clinical updates
- New drug approvals and clinical trials
- Medical council and regulatory updates (NMC, DCI, etc.)
- Healthcare policy and legal developments
- Ensure all content is evidence-based, fact-checked, and aligns with editorial and medical ethics.
- Source and cite authoritative references such as peer-reviewed journals, government notifications, and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with editors, medical reviewers, and other content team members to maintain accuracy and clarity.
- Stay up to date with current trends and developments in the healthcare and medical domain.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field. (MBBS / BDS / BPharm / MPharm / PhD candidates preferred)Proven experience in medical writing, healthcare journalism, or similar roles is a plus.Strong understanding of medical terminology, clinical guidelines, and healthcare systems in India.Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills in English.Familiarity with digital publishing tools and SEO best practices is a plus.Preferred Skills :
Familiarity with PubMed, WHO, ICMR, NMC updates, and clinical trial registries.Candidates will be trained in other aspects of Medical Journalism as well in the first few months of joining.
