What will you drive ?Risk & Pricing Lead - Buyback ProductAs we scale our Buyback24 product, a critical component is the strategic leadership around risk management and pricing. This role will serve as the cornerstone for developing and maintaining profitable, customer-aligned buyback offerings across new and used car markets, leveraging expertise from various financial and insurance sectors to optimize our positioning and profitability.

Key Responsibilities : Risk Pricing & Modeling : Develop, refine, and continuously optimize risk-pricing models, incorporating dynamic data to predict future car values, market volatility, and consumer behaviors. This includes using actuarial-style modeling akin to insurance product structuring.Loss Management and Provisioning :

Design risk mitigation strategies, including reserving policies similar to insurance loss provisioning, to safeguard against downside risks in buyback guarantees.Insurance Product Integration : Collaborate on bundling buyback guarantees as value-added insurance-like products, offering protection and assurance akin to resale value insurance.Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with product teams, partners (lenders, dealers, and insurers), and data specialists to ensure integrated risk management solutions across channels.Compliance and Portfolio Monitoring :

Establish guidelines, audit risk, and compliance frameworks to adhere to evolving market and regulatory demands.Innovation in Insurance Models :

Evaluate and incorporate concepts from reinsurance, portfolio monitoring, and Early Warning Signals (EWS) to build a robust buyback product capable of weathering market fluctuations.

What are we looking for?We are looking for candidate with 3-5 years of experience in risk management, pricing, or actuarial roles in insurance, automotive, or financial services sectors. The candidate should have strong understanding of quantitative modeling, insurance product principles, and consumer finance.Experience with digital insurance offerings, embedded insurance, and customer affordability solutions. Proven ability to drive cross-sector partnerships (e.g., insurers, banks, OEMs) with a focus on customer experience.
