Industrial Relations Strategy :
- Lead the development and execution of proactive Industrial Relations (IR) strategies across plant and manufacturing operations.
- Maintain a harmonious industrial climate through structured engagement with workers' unions and labor representatives.
- Manage wage settlements, union negotiations, grievance redressal, and collective bargaining with a strong legal and ethical framework.
Compliance & Legal Management :
Ensure 100% compliance with all labor laws and statutory requirements including Factories Act, CLRA, ID Act, etc.Liaise with government departments, labor offices, and legal consultants to address disputes and maintain organizational compliance.Oversee internal HR audits and drive process improvement related to IR.Workforce Management :
Monitor and manage workforce planning, contract labor management, and third-party vendor compliance.Implement and refine disciplinary processes and employee conduct protocols.Support plant leadership in resolving conflicts, misconduct, and productivity challenges.Policy Development & Implementation :
Draft, revise, and implement IR policies and SOPs to ensure consistency and fairness.Conduct awareness and training sessions for leadership and frontline managers on IR practices and legal compliance.Create systems for transparent and effective employee communication and policy dissemination.Employee Engagement & Culture :
Build trust-driven engagement models in a unionized environment.Collaborate with HR leadership to integrate IR with organizational development, employee welfare, and cultural transformation.Drive initiatives that enhance workforce morale, performance, and alignment with business goals.Crisis & Risk Management :
Act as the key point of contact during industrial disputes, strikes, or emergency situations involving labor.Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to ensure uninterrupted operations.Skills Required
