Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site ELV (Extra Low Voltage) Engineer role based in Chennai. The ELV Engineer will be responsible for the design, installation, testing, and maintenance of ELV systems, including security systems, CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems. Other core responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, coordinating with clients and teams, preparing system documentation, and ensuring project timelines are met with regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge and experience in ELV systems such as CCTV, access control systems, and fire alarm systems.
• Proficiency in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems and security systems.
• Competence in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and system layouts.
• Good project management and communication skills for coordinating with clients and teams effectively.
• Relevant certifications in ELV systems or electrical engineering are highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site and adhere to safety standards and quality requirements.
• Previous experience in a similar role or the security and surveillance industry is an advantage.
