Job descriptionBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. 5-8 years of experience in system administration or a similar role. Proficient in Linux / Unix and Windows server environments. Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP). Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V). Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Scripting skills in languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Consultant (System Admin) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and optimizing server systems, ensuring their performance and security, and providing technical support to users.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain server infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
- Install, configure, and update system software and applications.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Implement security protocols to safeguard data and systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to users and teams.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system functionality.
