Senior Manager Industry Placements

We are looking for a visionary and strategic Senior Manager Industry Placements to lead and scale our placement and career services function for students enrolled in our online programs. This role is pivotal in driving career outcomes, building industry alliances, and ensuring our learners are positioned for success in competitive job markets.

You will own the full spectrum of placement strategy from establishing high-value employer partnerships to developing future-focused career readiness initiatives and work at the intersection of education, employment, and industry Responsibilities :

  • Lead the development of high-impact partnerships with top-tier organizations, startups, and

recruitment firms across industries.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employers, aligning hiring needs with student capabilities and course outcomes.
  • Represent the institution at industry events, conferences, and hiring forums to enhance brand visibility and employer engagement.
  • Design and execute comprehensive placement strategies for online programs across domains such as tech, business, analytics, design, and more.
  • Collaborate with leadership to define KPIs and success metrics around placements, employability, and student outcomes.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of virtual and in-person placement drives, recruitment bootcamps, and employer-led events.
  • Ensure seamless coordination of end-to-end hiring processes including screening, scheduling, assessments, and feedback loops.
  • Build and manage a structured career development framework including 1 : 1 coaching, resume clinics, mock interviews, and behavioral readiness.
  • Identify skill gaps and collaborate with academic and instructional design teams to align curricula with market demands.
  • Drive adoption of career services platforms, tools, and resources to maximize placement support.
  • Maintain a robust database of placements, employer interactions, and job listings.
  • Analyze placement data to identify trends, hiring patterns, and learner outcomes and present actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Work closely with instructors, mentors, and content teams to ensure academic delivery supports industry readiness.
  • Partner with marketing and PR teams to spotlight placement success stories and enhance program reputation.
  • Establish a consistent feedback loop with employers, using it to refine course offerings and learner development initiatives.
  • Benchmark global best practices in employability and translate them into scalable strategies for online & Masters degree in Business, HR, Education Management, or related field.
  • Experience in placement leadership, talent acquisition, career services, or industry liaison roles, preferably in EdTech, higher education, or skill development sectors.
  • Proven track record of driving successful placements in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong network of HR leaders, recruiters, and hiring managers across industries.
  • Deep understanding of job market trends, future-of-work skills, and hiring expectations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, with a high executive presence.
