Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Bar Tender for a leading Hotel Group in Pondichery. As a Bar Tender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to our customers. This is a full-time position based in Puducherry, Puducherry, India, and is suitable for candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience in bartending.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 1 to 3 years of experience as a Bar Tender
  • Knowledge of a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Basic math and cash handling skills
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, making recommendations, and answering customers' questions
  • Check identification and verify the age of customers to ensure legal drinking age
  • Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
  • Monitor and replenish bar inventory, including ordering supplies
  • Create and maintain a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for customers
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure efficient service
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
