auto draftsman (or CAD drafter) uses specialized software, primarily AutoCAD, to create detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings and models of products, components, or structures, working with engineers and architects to translate concepts and specifications into accurate blueprints for manufacturing or construction. Key responsibilities include creating and revising designs, performing calculations, ensuring compliance with standards, and maintaining documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Design Creation : Generate detailed technical drawings, models, and blueprints for various projects using CAD software.

Collaboration : Work closely with engineers, architects, and other project team members to understand design requirements and gather specifications.

Design Revision : Update and modify existing designs to correct errors, improve functionality, or incorporate changes requested by the team.

Documentation : Prepare and maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and related project documentation.
