Location : Bengaluru / Mohali, India

Position Overview :

The Lansweeper Support Specialist provides technical and operational support for Lansweeper deployments across OT environments. The role ensures reliable system performance, oversees updates and integrations, monitors asset and network health, and improves data quality. It involves collaborating with automation, networking, and vendor teams to resolve issues, optimize the platform, and support new feature adoption. This virtual role may require occasional flexibility across time zones and minimal travel.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage Lansweeper configuration, updates, reporting, and asset discovery to ensure accurate and reliable data.
  • Monitor system health and performance, maintain dashboards, and support continuous optimization of the platform.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) and support integrations across OT and IT systems.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for troubleshooting, issue resolution, and feature enhancements.
  • Support lifecycle management, data quality initiatives, and compliance with cybersecurity standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering, automation, and networking teams to drive asset visibility, system stability, and operational improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience working with automation or asset management tools.
  • Hands-on experience with Lansweeper (or similar asset management platforms).
  • Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP / IP, VLANs, firewalls).
  • Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
  • Understanding of OT / IT integration and secure architectures.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based API environments (REST APIs, AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance frameworks.
  • Certifications (Preferred or Required) :

  • Relevant IT, networking, or cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Security+).
  • Cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP) – preferred.
  • Scripting or automation-related certifications (PowerShell, Python) – preferred.
  • OT / IT security or infrastructure certifications (e.g., ICS / OT cybersecurity) – nice to have.
