Job Description

You will join our Rail team

As our new Catenary Engineer / OHE Engineer / OLE Engineer you will be part of a world class, innovation driven engineering design center owned by an independent trust and its employees. You will collaborate with your colleagues to play a critical role in delivering on projects that involve multiple clients in countries across Europe, primarily in Germany. Ramboll Engineering Centre (REC) is a highly sophisticated center of engineering excellence and based in our India head office in Gurgaon. Working in partnership with all our established offices globally, the REC is a center for excellence in design by offering optimized solutions to the rest of the organization.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be

• Carry out Catenary / Overhead Line Electrification designs and provision of technical support throughout all the stages of design
• Independently deliver / manage the production of design deliverables in accordance with client requirements
• Review the work of less experience engineers and CAD technicians in the team and maintaining quality of deliverables
• Overseeing and guide the CAD and Jr engineers in carrying out the design and preparation of the drawings
• Keep up to date with industry best practice and where appropriate apply best practice within the team environment
• Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered
• Provides guidance to entry level engineers
• Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision

Qualifications

Software’s Required  – OLAcad, AutoCAD, Microstations

Experience Required - 10-12 Years

Location – Bangalore

Language - German language professional working proficiency (Level B1 / B2)
