Role Overview :

The Manager - Business Development will be responsible for driving revenue growth and client acquisition in the assigned territory. The role demands strong B2B sales experience, with a focus on SME engagement, market expansion, and strategic relationship management.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Identify, onboard, and manage SME clients to grow the marketplace ecosystem.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for the assigned territory.
  • Build long-term strategic relationships with decision-makers, channel partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Drive revenue targets through new customer acquisition and account management.
  • Conduct thorough market research to understand local dynamics, competition, and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, product) to ensure seamless execution.
  • Provide market intelligence and feedback to strengthen offerings and business positioning.

Key Requirements :

  • MBA / PGDM from Tier 1 B-Schools only.
  • 2-6 years of total experience with at least 2 years in B2B sales (preferably SME / enterprise sales).
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong local territory knowledge and established business network.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and evolving business environment.
