Role Overview :
The Manager - Business Development will be responsible for driving revenue growth and client acquisition in the assigned territory. The role demands strong B2B sales experience, with a focus on SME engagement, market expansion, and strategic relationship management.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify, onboard, and manage SME clients to grow the marketplace ecosystem.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for the assigned territory.
- Build long-term strategic relationships with decision-makers, channel partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Drive revenue targets through new customer acquisition and account management.
- Conduct thorough market research to understand local dynamics, competition, and customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, product) to ensure seamless execution.
- Provide market intelligence and feedback to strengthen offerings and business positioning.
Key Requirements :
MBA / PGDM from Tier 1 B-Schools only.2-6 years of total experience with at least 2 years in B2B sales (preferably SME / enterprise sales).Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.Strong local territory knowledge and established business network.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and evolving business environment.(ref : iimjobs.com)
