Job Title : Platform Data Architect
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled data architect to join our team and drive the development of our platform. As a data architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing the data foundation of our platform, ensuring it is secure, compliant, cost-efficient, and usable by all stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and configuring Fabric tenants, domains, capacity groups, and workspaces. They will also be responsible for establishing RBAC models, security groups, RLS / CLS patterns, budgeting guardrails, naming / tags, and approval workflows.
In addition, the successful candidate will need to stand up Purview collections, implement glossary governance, scanner rules, sensitivity labels, and end-to-end lineage across Fabric artefacts. They will also map HIPAA / PHI controls, integrate with Entra, Azure Policy, and Defender for Cloud, enable audit logs to be sent to Log Analytics and configured for retention.
Key responsibilities include right-sizing capacity, monitoring usage, forecasting spend, setting budgets / alerts, and recommending workload isolation or reservations to optimise TCO.
