Overview

We are seeking experienced MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) Support Consultants to provide expert functional and technical support for critical applications in a manufacturing environment. This role requires extensive hands-on experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications, a strong customer focus, and the ability to troubleshoot application issues.

Core Responsibilities

Application Support : Provide L2 / L3 functional and technical support for MES applications, specifically Werum PAS-X and FTPS

Incident & Problem Management : Manage and resolve incidents and problems in alignment with ITIL best practices, ensuring minimal disruption to manufacturing and quality operations.

Troubleshooting : Perform in-depth technical analysis and troubleshooting, including system logs review, database query execution, and code analysis (where applicable) to diagnose and resolve application issues.

Configuration & Maintenance : Execute system configuration, master data updates, and application maintenance tasks (e.g., patch deployment, system health checks).

Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation for support procedures, system configurations, and incident resolutions.

Stakeholder Communication : Effectively communicate with business users, IT teams, and external vendors regarding issue status, resolution, and system availability.

Mandatory Skills and Experience

MES Expertise :

6-10 years of hands-on functional and technical support experience with enterprise MES applications.

Mandatory practical experience supporting Werum PAS-X and / or FTPS (or similar leading MES platforms).

Strong understanding of core Manufacturing Processes (e.g., Batch Execution, Electronic Batch Records (EBR), Equipment Management).

Technical Skills :

Proficiency in SQL (writing queries for data analysis and troubleshooting).

Experience with Application Integration concepts and troubleshooting (e.g., interfaces with ERP, LIMS).

Process & Soft Skills :

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Experience working in an ITIL-based support environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Direct knowledge of Manufacturing IT application architecture and landscape.

Experience in the Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, or regulated manufacturing industry.

Familiarity with other supporting technologies (e.g., Reporting tools, OS / Server maintenance).
