About the Role :
We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Quality Analyst - Automation Testing to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
You will work closely with development teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software Responsibilities :
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools (e.g., Selenium, UFT, TestComplete).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and create effective test plans and test cases.
- Analyze functional specifications and design automation test cases to cover all aspects of the application.
- Perform regression, functional, integration, and performance testing using automation frameworks.
- Identify, document, and track defects; work closely with development teams to facilitate timely resolution.
- Continuously enhance automation frameworks and test scripts for improved efficiency and coverage.
- Participate in test strategy discussions and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Provide clear and concise test reports and metrics to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in test automation and recommend adoption when appropriate.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers and automation Skills & Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in automation testing, preferably in an Agile environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium WebDriver, UFT, TestComplete, or similar.
- Proficiency in programming / scripting languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
- Experience in developing and maintaining test automation frameworks (e.g., keyword-driven, data-driven, hybrid).
- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with CI / CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI / CD, or Bamboo for integrating automated tests into the build pipeline.
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, or REST-assured is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team
