Experience
Minimum of 8+ years of experience.
Overall Purpose of the Role
Provide technical electrical expertise and support in the development, implementation, and improvement of the condition monitoring strategy for Smart Grid Solutions as well as the
Overhead Powerlines Drones. By monitoring performance, optimizing maintenance, substation monitoring, transformer, switchgear condition monitoring, Arc flash prediction, cable end-point monitoring and failure prediction and collaborating with the Principal Engineer, the role aims to enhance the safety, availability, reliability, and cost effectiveness of AIGC et from an electrical engineering perspective.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and implementation of smart grid solutions aligned with industry best practices.
- Provide expert electrical engineering advice and support in the selection, installation, and maintenance of smart grid solutions, overhead powerlines, substation monitoring, transformer, switchgear condition monitoring, Arc flash prediction, cable end-point monitoring and failure prediction focusing on maximizing safety, availability, reliability, and cost effectiveness.
- Analyze data collected by Drones (UAVs) including visual, thermal and UV (Corona Discharge) data of transmission and distribution OHL network of all the components. Provide necessary recommendations, types of anomalies and severity of the defects as per local and international standards.
- Monitor and analyze performance data obtained from client systems, interpreting the results to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement from an electrical engineering standpoint.
- Work closely with the client and other sales team to develop proposals and action plans for improving client safety, reliability, and performance, with a specific emphasis on electrical engineering considerations.
- Design and deploy Asset Performance Management (APM) system focusing on predictive maintenance and asst health assessment and monitoring, etc.
