We are one of Indias fastest-growing premium pre-laminated panel and laminate manufacturers, operating from a state-of-the-art 100,000 sq. ft. facility near Vapi home to the countrys largest flat lamination unit. With rapid expansion underway, we are seeking a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to drive business growth across Karnataka and Kerala.
Role Overview
As the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for achieving revenue, margin, and market share goals through effective sales planning, channel management, and customer engagement. You will lead a regional team (34 members) while closely collaborating with senior leadership to deliver on business objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales Strategy & Execution :
- Develop and implement regional sales plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Identify, pursue, and convert business opportunities with builders, contractors, architects, and project consultants.
- Achieve revenue, profitability, and market share targets.
Channel & Network Management :
Drive sales through dealers, distributors, project sales, and retail channels.Expand dealer / distributor networks to improve coverage and penetration.Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market trends to refine channel strategy.Team Leadership & Operations :
Lead, mentor, and motivate the regional sales team to achieve business objectives.Ensure timely payment collections and compliance with credit policies.Conduct regular market visits to strengthen dealer and customer relationships, improving product visibility.Collaboration & Reporting :
Work with marketing and product teams to execute promotional campaigns and enhance brand awareness.Prepare and present monthly sales reports, forecasts, and regional business plans to senior management.Qualifications & Experience :
Graduate or Postgraduate (MBA preferred) with a focus in Sales / Marketing.8 - 12 years of proven sales experience in the building materials or construction products industry (e.g., cement, steel, paints, tiles, plywood, adhesives).Strong expertise in dealer / distributor management and project sales.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Demonstrated leadership experience with proven ability to manage and develop teams.Willingness to travel extensively within the region (~60% travel, including inter-city visits, site inspections, and client meetings).(ref : iimjobs.com)
