A Senior Product Manager for CGM in India is responsible for developing and executing the product strategy, managing the full product lifecycle for Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) devices and leading cross-functional teams to drive innovation and growth in the Indian market. Key duties include market research, defining product roadmaps and collaborating with engineering, marketing, sales, and R&D teams to deliver high-quality, user-centric solutions that align with business objectives.
Work Setup : Remote role with travel as required for business purposes.
Key responsibilities
- Strategy and planning :
- Define and own the long-term product vision and strategy for CGM in India.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and drive product innovation.
- Establish product roadmaps and prioritize features based on market demands, user needs and business goals.
- Product development :
- Act as the voice of the customer, translating user feedback and needs into clear product requirements and user stories.
- Cross-functional leadership :
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales and medical affairs, to ensure successful and timely product delivery.
- Communicate product vision, strategy, and updates effectively to all stakeholders, from individual contributors to senior management.
- Act as a liaison between technical and business teams, facilitating clear communication and decision-making.
- Market and business development :
- Develop market penetration and go-to-market strategies, including promotional and branding plans.
- Work with sales and commercial teams to provide product knowledge and training, and to define commercial models.
- Monitor product performance and use data analytics to inform decisions and drive business impact.
Qualifications and skills
Experience :5-7 years of experience in product management, with a focus on CGM, Medical devices in India
Technical skills :Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and a strong understanding of software development processes (e.g., Agile methodologies).
Analytical skills :Proficiency in data analysis, market research, and user research to inform product strategy and decisions.
Leadership and communication :Strong leadership, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
Business acumen :Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong understanding of the Indian healthcare market and a commercial approach to product development.
