Description : About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced Test Delivery Manager with a strong background in Digital Banking, Wealth Management, and System Integration Testing to lead and manage end-to-end quality assurance (QA) delivery for complex digital transformation programs.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale functional, integration, and automation testing initiatives, coordinating across multiple teams, and ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality financial technology solutions.
This role requires excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and hands-on experience in banking domain testing, digital platform validation, and agile delivery environments.
Key Responsibilities :
Test Delivery Management :
- Own and manage the end-to-end testing delivery lifecycle across digital wealth and banking platforms.
- Define and execute test strategy, planning, estimation, and resource management.
- Ensure testing is conducted in alignment with project timelines, SLAs, and quality standards.
- Oversee System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and End-to-End (E2E) test cycles.
- Identify test dependencies and mitigate risks through proactive planning and issue management.
Leadership & Team Management :
Lead and manage a distributed test team (onsite / offshore) including test leads, analysts, and automation engineers.Define roles, assign tasks, and ensure optimal utilization of testing resources.Mentor and guide the testing team in best practices, tools, and techniques.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality accountability.Digital Wealth & Banking Integration Testing :
Manage test delivery across digital wealth management platforms, core banking systems, and third-party integrations.Validate API integrations, mobile and web channels, CRM, and middleware components.Collaborate with architecture, development, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and data flow.Support testing of digital onboarding, payments, fund transfers, portfolio management, and financial advisory modules.Test Automation & Quality Engineering :
Drive automation strategy using tools such as Selenium, UFT, Tosca, or Cypress, and API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured.Oversee automation coverage across regression and integration testing cycles.Promote shift-left testing, CI / CD integration, and continuous quality practices.Monitor automation execution and maintain reusable test assets.Stakeholder & Vendor Management :
Work closely with Product Owners, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Development teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.Engage with external vendors and technology partners for integration and validation.Manage client expectations, provide regular updates, and ensure timely test delivery sign-offs.Reporting, Governance & Risk Management :
Establish and manage testing governance frameworks including metrics, dashboards, and KPIs.Provide test progress, defect, and risk reports to project and senior management.Ensure adherence to regulatory, compliance, and security testing standards applicable in banking environments.Conduct post-release reviews and drive root cause analysis for defect prevention.Key Skills Required :
Strong experience in Test Delivery Management across Digital Banking and Wealth Management domains.Expertise in Integration, Functional, Regression, and Automation Testing.Proven experience in testing APIs, Microservices, Cloud-based systems, and Digital Channels (Web / Mobile).Sound understanding of Banking products such as Payments, Deposits, Lending, Investments, and Portfolio Management.Hands-on knowledge of Agile methodologies, CI / CD pipelines, and DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Jira, etc.Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Familiarity with test management tools such as ALM, Jira, Zephyr, or TestRail(ref : iimjobs.com)
