SCM - Raw material

Key Responsibilities :

• Strategic Sourcing & Category Management

Define and execute category strategies for lithium cell raw materials and parts.

Develop multi-year sourcing roadmaps aligned with volume forecasts and technology roadmaps.

Identify, qualify, and manage suppliers in and outside India.

Lead supplier performance programs (KPIs, quality audits, continuous improvement).

Negotiate master agreements, frame contracts, and long‑term pricing with key suppliers.

Drive cost‑down initiatives through total cost of ownership (TCO) analyses.

Ensure the on-time delivery of raw materials for the continual production of the cell plant

Tracing the finances for the on-time payment

Monitor geopolitical, trade-policy, critical mineral markets and implement mitigation plans.

Ensure supplier adherence to corporate ethics, sustainability and quality standards.

Collaborate with Engineering on design-to-cost and make‑vs‑buy decisions.

Partner with Quality to resolve supplier‑related issues and audits.

Mentor and develop procurement professionals.

Establish best practices, tools, and processes for category management.

Qualifications & Experience

Education :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business or related field.
