Research and Consulting Team

  • Our Research and Consulting vertical partners with leading corporates (including Fortune 5000), professional services providers and high-growth start-ups to help them grow, optimize, and innovate — all backed by exceptional research, analytics, and strategic insights delivered by an exceptionally driven, hardworking, best-in-class teams

    • oWe work directly with CXO offices, Chiefs of Staff, Corporate Development & Strategy, and Commercial / Sales / Marketing leaders

    Positions : Associate Consultant / Consultant (Insights, Intelligence and Advisory Role)

  • Axience is seeking talented professionals with 0-3 years of relevant experience to join our Research and Consulting team
  • Full-time position based in Mumbai (India) (fully work from office)

    • Core Responsibilities

  • Support large and medium size corporates across key sectors, strategy consulting and intelligence firms and other clients

    • oWork on primary research, secondary research and other Axience comprehensive insight, intelligence and advisory related research processes

    oSupport strategy and corporate development, commercial / brand and competitive / markets intelligence / insight functions of highly reputable and demanding clients

    oProduce competitive deep dives and profiles, highly analytical newsletters, event analysis and dashboards across key markets and diverse sectors / industries

    oUnderstand research objectives, design partial or full research strategies, interpret and analyze and present information for accuracy, exhaustiveness, and applicability

  • Take responsibility for end-to-end execution of projects with low levels of supervision required (although experienced team managers are always available for guidance)
  • This role also provides an opportunity to work on financial research projects from time to time and develop financial analysis skills providing an opportunity for well-rounded skill development
  • Support inside sales, pre-sales and business development operations related to industry part of the role and beyond

    • An Associate Consultant / Consultant at Axience is hired typically as a fresh graduate / postgraduate or from industry with 0-3 years of experience supported by strong education, internships and exposures. The Associate Consultant / Consultant works on basic market and strategic research. Detailed responsibilities may include (but not limited to) :

  • Understand research objectives, design partial or full research strategies, interpret and analyze information for accuracy, exhaustiveness and applicability
  • Work on projects ranging from market entry study, opportunity assessment, competitive landscape, target / supplier identification & benchmarking, newsletters, company profiles, etc.
  • Mapping industry professionals and their background to build analytical insights and for primary interviews
  • Working on RFP and proposals as well as pilot projects for the clients

    • Desired Academic and Professional Background

  • Top-tier academic performance is essential, supported by strong education, internships and exposures

    • oMBA / Engineering graduates from Tier 1 or equivalent Indian institutes, OR

    oTop international universities with strong research credentials

    oThose with an Engineering plus MBA would be given higher priority

  • Associate Consultant / Consultant needs to have 0-3 years of prior experience in strategy consulting, competitive intelligence, or market intelligence at top consulting / research firms

    • oPrior work experience with captives of management consulting firms is a plus

    oRelevant international experience would be given higher priority

  • Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong secondary and primary market research skills
  • Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Prior exposure to strategy, market intelligence, or competitive analysis will be a plus
  • Understanding financial concepts;

    • Financial analysis skill will be a plus
