About The Opportunity

A leading tertiary-care provider in the hospital & healthcare services sector, delivering advanced cardiovascular care and interventional cardiology services in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. We operate a modern catheterization laboratory and multidisciplinary cardiac program focused on evidence-based, patient-centered outcomes.

Role : Consultant Interventional Cardiologist (DM Cardiology) — On-site, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead and perform diagnostic coronary angiography and complex percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) including CTO and atherectomy procedures with IVUS / OCT guidance.
• Manage all aspects of cath lab operations : procedural scheduling, equipment readiness, device inventory, sterility protocols, and safety compliance.
• Provide comprehensive peri-procedural patient management : pre-procedure assessment, intra-procedure hemodynamic care, complication management, and post-procedure discharge planning.
• Coordinate care with cardiac surgery, critical care, imaging and allied teams to plan hybrid or staged interventions and urgent referrals.
• Supervise and mentor junior cardiologists, fellows, and cath-lab staff; lead training sessions and enforce clinical protocols and procedural checklists.
• Drive clinical governance : maintain procedural logs, participate in morbidity & mortality reviews, implement quality improvement initiatives and ensure documentation for audits and registries.
