are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven professional to lead end-to-end supply chain strategy and operations within a manufacturing environment. This role is pivotal in enhancing performance across sourcing, production planning, logistics, and inventory management, while ensuring cost efficiency, delivery effectiveness, and seamless integration with overall business objectives.
The incumbent will collaborate cross-functionally to streamline processes, drive digital and operational transformation, and build a resilient, sustainable supply network. Exposure to manufacturing operations such as press work, die casting, and precision machining is essential.
Key Strategic Planning : Design and implement long-term supply chain strategies focused on cost optimization, efficiency, risk mitigation, and sustainability.
- Demand & Capacity Management : Forecast demand, analyze production capacity, and monitor inventory to support production and fulfillment goals.
- Procurement & Supplier Management : Drive sourcing strategies, lead supplier negotiations, manage contracts, and conduct periodic supplier performance reviews.
- Operational Excellence : Lead initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with engineering, production, quality, finance, and sales teams to ensure alignment and efficient material flow.
- Performance Monitoring : Track KPIs related to cost, service levels, inventory turns, and on-time delivery; implement corrective actions as needed.
- Digital Transformation : Champion digital supply chain initiatives, leveraging ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced analytics for transparency and decision-making.
- Project Leadership : Manage strategic projects including New Product Introductions (NPI), capacity planning, and global sourcing rollouts.
