We are seeking a Senior Staff Engineer for our Appliance Team.  The candidate will be working as part of a small, dynamic team and will be responsible for designing, coding, and unit-testing system-level software which provides functionality and APIs related to various environments.  The ideal candidate should be a Linux Architect with extensive working knowledge of Networking and a variety of Virtualization environments along with proficiency in C, C++, Bash and Python. Experience in Public Cloud platforms(AWS, Azure) is a must and with good understanding of Cloud Deployments and Containers. The candidate mush show cases experience in Infrastructure as a Code(IaC) and DevOps. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

• Design, code and test APIs which allow the configuration and monitoring of networking in a virtualized environment.
• Design, code and test the building and packaging of applications for various virtualization environments.
• Evaluate and maintain security infrastructure.
• Design and implement automation and orchestration solutions.
• Work closely with the engineering team to design and implement feature specifications.
• Support and maintain developed code through system test and customer deployments.
• Contribute to overall product requirements and design.
• Act as a mentor to junior members of the Systems Engineering team.
• Collaborate across teams to define requirements and dependencies.
• Investigate and present technology solutions to improve performance.
• Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement of existing solutions.
