Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analysis, statistical methods, and visualization techniques. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to interpret data, generate insights, and support data-driven decision-making that drives business growth.
Key Roles & Responsibilities :
Data Collection & Management :
- Gather, clean, and organize structured and unstructured data from various sources.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in all processes.
Data Analysis & Reporting :
Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.Translate data findings into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.Business Insights & Decision Support :
Collaborate with business units to define KPIs and performance metrics.Provide recommendations to improve business processes, operations, and customer experience.Automation & Optimization :
Develop scripts or workflows (using SQL, Python, or R) to automate repetitive data tasks.Continuously optimize data pipelines and reporting processes.Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Work with product, marketing, finance, and operations teams to support strategic initiatives.Present findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.Required Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field.1-4 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and at least one data visualization tool (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).Knowledge of statistical techniques and data modeling concepts.Hands-on experience with Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Preferred Skills (Good to Have) :
Experience with ETL processes and cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).Knowledge of big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop).Familiarity with machine learning basics for predictive analytics.(ref : hirist.tech)
