Job description

Job Title : Business Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Coordinator to support our corporate team in Madrid with subsidiary management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Support the corporate team in managing subsidiaries in LATAM and UAE.
  • Collaborate in administrative and accounting management of subsidiaries, ensuring process homogeneity.
  • Collect and validate financial information from subsidiaries.
  • Coordinate international administrative tasks, including documentation, reporting, and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Review reports and expense control.
  • Register customer and supplier invoices in the accounting system once enabled for subsidiaries.
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations.
  • Support periodic tax preparation.
  • Collaborate in preparing periodic reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and management reports.
  • Track payments and collections.
  • Support monthly and annual accounting closings.

Requirements :

Accounting knowledge : Familiarity with basic accounting principles and ability to apply them in practice.

Excel : Intermediate level.

Management of accounting software : Experience in using accounting software for SMEs such as QuickBooks or similar systems.

Fluency in English is required; fluency in Spanish considered an asset.

Analytical skills : Ability to analyze financial data and detect discrepancies or errors.

Attention to detail : Accuracy in recording transactions and preparing financial / accounting reports.

Organization : Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain efficient work schedule.

Communication : Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members, employees, vendors, and customers.

Professional ethics : Commitment to confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial information.
