Our client, a top ranking business school with campuses in Asia, Middle East, Europe, and US, is hiring a Peoplesoft Technical Consultant / Lead.
We are looking for an experienced PeopleSoft Technical Lead to support and guide their Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions application. This role is ideal for someone with both strong technical expertise and the ability to partner closely with business and IT teams to drive impactful solutions. This is a strategic role where your expertise will directly contribute to the smooth running and ongoing evolution of a world-class academic environment.
Responsibilities :
- Provide both functional and technical application support.
- Lead and coordinate technical development activities across Campus Solutions.
- Collaborate with the IT team to analyze and implement business requirements.
- Ensure timely communication of task and project status to stakeholders.
- Define, implement, and maintain best practices in development, testing, and release management.
- Develop contingency and backup strategies to ensure continuity of services.
Scope of Responsibilities :
Manage incident resolution (Level 2 and above) and perform root cause analysis.Oversee small to medium system changes and integrations within Campus Solutions.Offer expert guidance on system optimization, performance tuning, and long-term roadmap alignment.Partner with business stakeholders to translate functional needs into effective technical solutions.Key Competencies :
Technical Expertise :
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle PeopleSoft Campus SolutionsProficiency in PeopleTools, Application Designer, Application Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker, SQR, PeopleCode, BI Publisher, and related tools.Knowledge of Oracle Database and SQL for troubleshooting and performance tuning.Familiarity with integrations between PeopleSoft and third-party systems.Leadership & Collaboration :
Proven ability to lead technical development teams and coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders.Experience in mentoring team members and providing technical guidance.Strong communication skills to engage with both business and technical stakeholders.Process & Best Practices :
