Senior Associate - Legal & Compliance - Crypto Startup, Bangalore

Job Summary :

A leading Crypto Startup is keen to hire a qualified CS or LLB professional with 2+ years of experience in legal and compliance domain, with proven expertise in contract drafting, review, negotiation, and litigation management. The selected candidate will be responsible for various agreements, maintaining and timely filling statutory compliance records, resolving legal and compliance related queries. The role demands strong attention to detail, sound legal judgment, and the ability to work independently.

Our client, a leading Crypto startup who is on a mission to propel the widespread adoption of cryptocurrencies in India and to reshape the future of crypto futures trading. They are the architects of a future where financial markets seamlessly integrate with the world of digital assets.

Location : HSR Layout, Bengaluru

Roles and Responsibilities :

Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, including vendor agreements, MSAs, partnership agreements, and other commercial documents.

Manage compliance requirements for overseas entities, including maintaining statutory records and ensuring timely filings.

Coordinate with external counsels on legal matters.

Conduct research on applicable laws, regulations, and emerging legal developments relevant to the company’s business.

Review legal documents such as notices, correspondence, and filings.

Maintain and monitor the compliance calendar to ensure timely completion of all legal, contractual, and compliance obligations under applicable laws.

Draft, review, and update internal company policies and procedures.

Support internal stakeholders with legal and compliance-related queries.

Carry out such other relevant duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Role Requirements :

Strong drafting, reviewing, and negotiation skills.

Good understanding of corporate, contract, and compliance laws.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Attention to detail and strong research ability.

Education : LLB / qualified CS

Experience : 2–5 years of relevant experience in contract management, compliance, and general corporate legal work

Working days : Monday to Friday
