Job description

Role Overview :

Responsible for the successful delivery of eco-village, waste management, and renewable energy projects, including government liaison, community engagement, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring alignment with CSR objectives.

Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

  • Oversee planning, execution, and monitoring of waste management, renewable energy, and Eco Village projects.
  • Ensure all projects align with organizational CSR objectives.

Field Operations

  • Conduct extensive fieldwork including site assessments, community interactions, and project implementation across multiple locations.
  • Promote community participation and adoption of sustainable practices.
  • Community Engagement & Training

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local communities.
  • Educate and support communities in bio-composting and sustainable agricultural practices.
  • Organize and conduct training sessions and workshops for community members and project staff.
  • Data Collection & Reporting

  • Collect and analyze data related to project activities, outcomes, and community impact.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
  • Sustainability & Eco Practices

  • Implement and promote sustainable practices within the Eco Village, focusing on waste recycling, bio-composting, and environmental initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate with local authorities, government bodies, communities, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
  • Mandatory Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Environmental Science, Waste Management, Sustainability, or related fields.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in urban waste management, circular economy solutions, or sustainability projects.
  • Experience collaborating with government authorities, corporate CSR teams, and community groups.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Analytical thinking with solution-oriented execution capability.
  • Proficiency in proposal writing, documentation, and reporting.
  • Fluency in Kannada and proficiency in English is advantageous.
