The GIC Supply Chain team manages end-to-end operations, encompassing planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and analytics. They strategically plan to meet market demands, optimize sourcing, ensure efficient production, and oversee the seamless movement of goods from production to delivery. The team employs advanced analytics throughout these processes, fostering adaptability and operational excellence. This collaborative approach ensures a well-coordinated supply chain that aligns with both organizational goals and dynamic market conditions.
Purpose of the role
The Supply Chain Adv. Analytics team is responsible for developing innovative solutions and advanced capabilities that enhance decision-making across the supply chain. This team collaborates closely with all supply chain functions-including planning, sourcing, manufacturing, distribution, and customer service-as well as business units and cross-functional partners to drive business value through data-driven insights. By leveraging advanced analytics, the team enables step-change improvements in business processes and operational efficiency.
The purpose of the role is to effectively manage and solve moderate-complexity supply chain challenges while ensuring alignment between business needs and technical solutions. This involves gathering requirements, collaborating on project scopes, and translating them into actionable technical specifications. The role emphasizes data-driven analysis to enhance decision-making and efficiency using Agile methodologies for project execution. Additionally, it encompasses leading data modeling and business intelligence development efforts, optimizing ETL processes, and fostering collaboration to deliver scalable data solutions. The role also includes providing technical leadership, coaching team members, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the analytics function's overall performance.
