Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Associate in Indirect Tax located in Bengaluru. The Associate will be responsible for handling day-to-day tax compliance and preparation tasks, understanding and applying tax laws, and supporting finance-related activities. Responsibilities also include preparing tax returns, conducting tax research, and providing tax-related consulting services to clients.

Qualifications & skills

• Qualified Chartered Accountants, Cost Accountants, Lawyers or Company Secretaries with knowledge of GST and Customs
• Pre-qualification experience in indirect tax is a necessary criterion
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Working knowledge of indirect tax compliances (including preparing and filing GST returns)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects
