Senior Platform Engineer

Job Summary :

Client is looking for Senior Platform Engineer and this is remote position from India.

Responsibilities :

Design, build, and manage scalable Kubernetes platforms and automation using Terraform.

Support GitOps workflows (Helm, ArgoCD) for consistent deployments.

Collaborate with architects to define design tenets and mentor junior engineers.

Contribute to CI / CD optimization and platform security best practices.

Document solutions and provide cross-team knowledge transfer.

This position is roughly 70% hands-on engineering and 30% leadership, focused on building a Kubernetes-as-a-Service developer platform to accelerate delivery.

The environment is 90% AWS (EKS) and fully Cloud Native, leveraging GitLab for SDLC and CI / CD automation within flexible Agile processes

Experience :

8–13 years of experience in platform engineering or DevOps roles.

Deep expertise in Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform, and Cloud Native architectures.

AWS

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Nice to Have :

Experience with GitLab, Grafana, or Agile SDLC processes; attention to detail and vocal contribution to team design discussions.
