Description : About the Role :
We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with strong hands-on experience in building scalable, high-performance applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in Kafka, containerization, and modern DevOps practices. Experience in the Retail / eCommerce domain will be a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices with high scalability and reliability.
- Build and optimize integrations using Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, topics, schema registry, etc.).
- Develop and deploy applications using Docker and manage orchestration via Kubernetes.
- Implement RESTful services, ensure clean API design, and maintain high code quality.
- Participate in CI / CD pipeline setup, source code management, and automation using Git.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues using tools such as Dynatrace, New Relic, or AppDynamics.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and implement best practices across the development lifecycle.
- Ensure adherence to security, performance, and reliability standards.
Required Skills & Experience :
Strong programming skills in Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, topics, schema registry, message flow design).Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment and container orchestration.Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics, etc.).Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, CI / CD pipelines, and Git.Experience in Retail / eCommerce domain is a strong plus.Familiarity with cloud ecosystems such as AWS / Azure / GCP is preferred.Additional Attributes :
