Financial Support Specialist

This role is responsible for providing financial support to operational project teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Main responsibilities include :

• Financial assistance for project teams in all areas related to running clinical trials
• Preparation of monthly invoicing worksheets for client invoicing and revenue recognition
• Variance analysis comparing forecasted revenue to actual revenue to identify gaps and changes in scope
• Reviewing work orders and change order budgets against actual activities to identify out-of-scope activities
• Supporting monthly project review meetings as needed
• Assisting with contract document preparation (statements of work and change orders)
• Providing support for financial reporting and general ledger functions
• Ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close
• Collaborating with finance team members to support overall department goals and objectives
• Responding to CFO and VP, Operational Finance inquiries regarding financial results and special reporting requests
