SAP Basis Consultant

Required Skills & Experience :

• 12+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration across various SAP products (ECC, S / 4HANA, BW / 4HANA, Solution Manager, Fiori).
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP HANA database , SAP NetWeaver , and SAP Cloud Platform .
• Expertise in system copies, migrations (SUM / DMO), performance tuning , and kernel upgrades .
• Experience managing SAP environments on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Deep understanding of SAP landscape architecture , sizing, and capacity planning.
• Solid experience with SAP Security concepts , including roles, authorizations, and audit compliance.
• Familiarity with SAP Router, SSO, SSL certificates, and Solution Manager (ChaRM, EWA) .
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and implement long-term preventive measures
• Lead the design, installation, and configuration of SAP systems (S / 4HANA, ECC, BW, Solution Manager, Fiori, PO, etc.) across multiple environments.
• Manage SAP system administration including transport management, client copies, system refreshes, backups, and restores.
• Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, kernel updates, and migrations (on-premise to cloud or cloud-to-cloud).
• Ensure high availability and performance of SAP applications through proactive monitoring and tuning.
• Oversee disaster recovery, system backups, and performance optimization procedures.
• Implement and manage SAP HANA database administration (performance tuning, backups, replication, monitoring).
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and functional teams to deliver robust system architecture and performance.
• Manage user administration, role management, and authorization setup within SAP systems.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to Basis team members.
• Support integration of SAP systems with third-party solutions and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Work with SAP and infrastructure vendors to resolve system issues and implement recommended improvements
