Purpose of the Role :
To support the design, implementation, and monitoring of solar energy projects that enhance rural livelihoods and ensure sustainable access to clean energy.
Key Deliverables :
To support the implementation of solar-based interventions (solar microgrids, solar home lights, solar irrigation, solar-powered livelihood solutions, etc.) in rural communities across Jharkhand and Odisha.
Conduct technical assessments, prepare system design, and make technical estimates for solar projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and sustainability.
Support the installation, operation, and maintenance of systems in coordination with field teams, vendors, and partners.
Provide on-ground monitoring and troubleshooting support to ensure high-quality execution of projects.
Manage project data, including site-level technical details, performance metrics, and beneficiary information.
Use GIS tools for site identification, mapping, monitoring, and analysis of solar interventions.
Track progress against key indicators and prepare timely reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) capturing impact, risks, learnings, and recommendations.
Support in preparing operational plans for community need mapping, feasibility studies, research pilots, and scaling of solar energy interventions.
Assist in preparing and managing project budgets, financial estimates for solar interventions.
Support documentation, audits, and compliance requirements.
Work experience in years :
3-8 years of relevant experience
Minimum Qualification :
Master’s Degree in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, Sustainable Development Rural Development, Environmental Sciences, or related fields.
