Job description

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer (SDE III) to join our fast-growing engineering team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in Java and backend architecture, with a strong track record of building scalable and high-performance systems.

Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Java (Spring Boot).
  • Lead and contribute to the system architecture and technical design discussions.
  • Optimize application performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, frontend developers, DevOps, and QA teams.
  • Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.
  • Work in an agile environment and participate in sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to improving engineering best practices.

Requirements :

  • Key Skills : Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, SQL / NoSQL, Cloud (AWS / Azure / GCP), CI / CD.
  • 4 to 9 years of hands-on experience in backend development.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot framework.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, Microservices Architecture, and message queues Proficient in working with relational and NoSQL databases (e. g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Experience with Cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines, version control (Git), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in system design and handling large-scale distributed systems.
  • Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (e. g., Prometheus, ELK stack, Grafana).
  • Contributions to open-source or personal GitHub projects.
  • Knowledge of performance testing and optimization techniques.
