Key Responsibilities / Duties :
- Serve as a primary point of contact for the Email Activation and Enablement manager, helping coordinate team tasks and priorities.
- Provide informal leadership and mentorship to email developers, ensuring consistency and quality across deliverables.
- Oversee local coordination of email development activities, helping manage timelines, workloads, and stakeholder communications.
- Engage with requesters to gather campaign requirements and translate them into actionable development tasks.
- Create pixel-perfect, responsive email templates using HTML and CSS, adhering to branding and UX best practices.
- Collaborate with UX and creative teams to ensure alignment with design standards and accessibility guidelines.
- Support both EMEA and North America email programs, helping balance global workload and priorities.
- Integrate email templates into Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (formerly Pardot), including dynamic content and personalization.
- Perform quality assurance, ensure email renders across browsers, devices and meets quality requirements
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug proprietary email code to resolve rendering and compatibility issues across a wide range of email clients (e.g., Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail, mobile devices, etc.), ensuring consistent user experience.
- Strong understanding of email client limitations and best practices for coding responsive, cross-platform emails.
- Experienced with tools and techniques to test and optimize email rendering across various platforms and devices
- Build web experiences using HTML / CSS / HML(Pardot Handlebars Merge Language) / JavaScript (front end) a plus
- Stay current on email marketing trends, tools, and technologies, and share insights with the broader team.
Work Experience / Knowledge :
7+ years of experience in email development, including leading or mentoring junior developers and managing production workflowsAdvanced experience working with email code. Advanced with HTML, CSS, HML(Pardot Handlebars Merge Language), and responsive design, comfortable with HTML for emailStrong experience working with Adobe Creative Suite, comfortable translating design file into functional HTMLProven experience with email automation platforms, especially Pardot and SFMCStrong design sensibility and a passion for embedding UX best practices into every email experienceExcellent project management and communication skillsDemonstrated strong critical thinking and business acumen, with the ability to translate marketing objectives into effective email solutions that support broader campaign goals and audience strategies.Stay up to date on newest tools and tactics in email marketing
