Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role in Gurugram for a Lead Software Engineer. The role involves leading the design, development, testing, and deployment of back-end solutions, and ensuring high-quality, scalable, and efficient software development practices. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing object-oriented programming principles, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior developers. The Lead Software Engineer will also work closely with project stakeholders to deliver technology-driven outcomes that align with client objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable web and mobile applications.

Architect and maintain robust backend services using Node.js (Express / NestJS).

Drive end-to-end mobile development using Flutter with attention to performance and UX.

Collaborate with product, design, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth delivery cycles.

Perform code reviews and enforce best practices for maintainability and performance.

Mentor and guide junior developers to achieve technical excellence.

Ensure high standards of software security, testing, and documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

Graduate from Tier 1 college.

5+ years of hands-on software development experience.

Strong proficiency in Node.js (Express / NestJS or similar frameworks).

Solid experience with Flutter for mobile app development.

Proven track record of leading small to mid-sized tech teams.

Good understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS / GCP).

Experience with CI / CD pipelines, Git, and agile methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in startups or product-based companies.

Exposure to GraphQL, Docker, or Kubernetes.

Knowledge of database design (SQL and NoSQL).
