About the Role
In this role you will be reporting to the Senior Manager – Cloud Operations. The Technical Lead role will be the SME for Cloud Services, AWS, Azure & other related technologies. The role will be responsible for collaborating, developing, and managing Digital infrastructure Cloud solutions for HARMAN.
Your Team
You will be part of a global team distributed across India, USA, Mexico, and Europe - providing 24 / 7 cloud services.
What You Will Do
- Amazon Web Services Infrastructure Management, including VPCs, IAM, S3, EC2, EBS, and other cloud services.
- Manage multiple, simultaneous, fast-paced projects including infrastructure incident management, installations, patching, upgrades, etc.
- Work with business leaders and teams in executing business related projects primarily with the focus on technical and cloud infrastructure.
- Implementing new services and functionalities as required by business projects.
- Building automations to shorten repetitive tasks and bring consistency.
- Providing opinions on the architecture of Cloud solutions used in the organization.
- Handling Cloud operations tasks related to virtual infrastructure in AWS and Azure cloud
- Task Management of the cloud operations team including Service Requests, Change Requests, etc.
- Address any cloud infrastructure related issues with Project users and client technical team.
- Address concerns related to Cloud Security and Compliance
- Act as the first point of contact for major incidents from Cloud Operations team
- Supporting queries and concerns from various stakeholders and project teams using cloud infrastructure, and providing them recommendations on infrastructure and cost optimization
- Creating documentation for solutions and improving knowledgebase
- Assist, develop and produce reports for monthly Cloud Operations metrics on security remediations, cost optimization exercises, and operational enhancements.
- Collaborating with a diverse, globally distributed team.
- Participating in an on-call shift roster and working in shifts when required.
What You Need
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or related field.REQUIRED 7+ years hands-on experience in Cloud and Digital Infrastructure.Good understanding of networks, servers, load balancers and security concepts / tools.Experience in different flavors of Linux operating systems.Expertise and acumen to manage a global team that is spread across the world.Knowledge on ITIL process.What is Nice to Have
