Lead ML Engineer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead ML Engineer that will work in a global team of Data Scientists delivering their methods into production in the most efficient way possible. You will also implement monitoring and alert systems. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge and experience of model management and experiment tracking frameworks (MLFlow, ...), data storage and versioning (DVC, LakeFs, ...), Python, Pytorch, Azure Machine Learning, Jenkins, Grafana, Gitlab CI and Docker.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Design, develop and maintain ML pipelines, ensuring high reliability and scalability.

2. Implement scalable machine learning infrastructure, to deploy advanced algorithms based on image, text, audio and tabular data.

3. Optimize trained AI models (latency, memory, throughput, ...)

4. Develop CI / CD pipelines and containerize production applications

5. Automate existing workflows withing Data Science team

6. Monitor and troubleshoot production ML systems to ensure smooth operation using alert systems.

7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across data and engineering to come up with solutions to complex problem statements.

8. Lead research initiatives to explore new methodologies, tools, and technologies, and contribute to the development of best ML OPs practices within the company.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

2. Strong proficiency in Python, with extensive experience in PyTorch or TensorFlow.

3. Extensive knowledge of key machine learning metrics and optimization techniques.

4. Strong knowledge of version control systems (Git, data versioning, ...).

5. Experience in model management and experiment tracking frameworks

6. Strong knowledge and practical understanding of different ML Ops techniques.

7. Prior experience in handling very large datasets across different business functions

8. Practical experience of deploying and monitoring scalable machine learning models in real-world applications.

9. Prior experience in CI / CD pipelines, containerization, scheduling and automation.

10. Prior experience in designing production ready and large-scale AI / ML systems end-to-end in a very fast-paced environment.

11. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

12. Self-motivated individual who can work independently, and stay updated on updated with the latest advancements in AI, deep learning, generative AI and related system design areas.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

1. Extensive experience with Azure ecosystem, in particular Azure Machine Learning.

2. Experience developing computer vision, text, audio, and / or tabular data models.

3. Strong proficiency in Gitlab CI, Jenkins, Grafana, Docker.

4. Excellent software engineering skills in API design and development, and concurrency design skills.

5. Required experience of 8-12 Years
