Position Overview :
We are seeking a talented Battery Management System (BMS) MBD Developer Intern to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and testing software functions for high-voltage battery management systems. You will work on modeling lithium-ion batteries, developing state-of-the-art control algorithms, and ensuring the functional and performance requirements of the software are met. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of advanced battery systems for the electric vehicle industry while working in a dynamic, multidisciplinary team environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in developing software functions for high-voltage Battery Management Systems (BMS).
- Gain experience in lithium-ion battery modeling using equivalent-circuit and physics-based approaches.
- Work with MATLAB / Simulink and Embedded Coder for BMS algorithm simulation and code generation.
- Support test case creation and debugging to improve software reliability.
- Contribute to low-level software configuration, design reviews, and code inspections.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary and international teams to complete project tasks.
- Participate in quality checks and milestone reviews, following standard software development practices.
- Help prepare documentation for models and algorithms in line with ASPICE (Automotive SPICE) guidelines.
- Report progress and findings to senior engineers and team leads.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in electronics, computer engineering, or related field. Master’s or PhD is a plus.Basic understanding of model-based design and development using tools like MATLAB / Simulink.Familiarity with battery modeling concepts and physics-based approaches (e.g., Simscape).Knowledge of lithium-ion battery chemistries (e.g., LFP, NMC) and their behavior.Exposure to auto code generation using MATLAB / Simulink is a plus.Understanding of software testing processes, including unit testing and integration.Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN) and issue tracking tools like Jira.Awareness of AUTOSAR architecture is desirable.What We Offer :
