Solar Site Engineer – Electrical B.Tech

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Solar Site Engineer with a focus on Electrical Engineering. The Solar Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and quality control of solar energy systems. Key tasks include monitoring on-site operations, coordinating with team members, ensuring adherence to project timelines, and troubleshooting technical issues when required.

Qualifications

Experience in On-Site management and hands-on solar system implementation

Strong Communication skills for effective coordination and collaboration

Proficiency in Quality Control processes, ensuring high standards in system installations

A background in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering to oversee structural designs and installations

Knowledge of electrical engineering principles relevant to solar installations

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (B.Tech)

Problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Knowledge of solar energy industry regulations and best practices is a plus

Eligibility

• B.Tech in Electrical Engineering / Renewable Energy – mandatory
• Minimum eligibility now includes :

– At least 6 months of Industrial Training (ITI / Plant / Workshop / Solar)

OR

– Minimum 1 year of Electrical Private Tuition / Coaching experience (practical-focused)
