Job description

Your job :

  • Align with test managers and analysts on test strategy, plans, schedules, and technical details
  • Prepare, plan, and execute test cases using ALM systems in internal or external labs
  • Perform and supervise tests including climatic, endurance, vibration, EMC, and IP protection
  • Evaluate test results, document findings, and generate detailed test reports
  • Qualify components with Profinet and EtherCAT interfaces
  • Setup and manage manual and automated test benches
  • Investigate customer complaints, reproduce failures, and support root cause analysis with quality teams
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary and international teams

Your qualification :

  • Completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable technical field
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in setting up and operating complex manual or automated test systems
  • Experience as a test engineer in environmental testing is an advantage
  • Hands-on knowledge of programmable controllers (PLCs such as Siemens or Beckhoff) and peripherals
  • Proficiency in PLC programming according to EN61131-3, especially in Structured Text or Python
  • Basic understanding of industrial fieldbus protocols such as PROFINET, EtherNet / IP, or EtherCAT
  • Experience using ALM tools like Jira, Doors, or Codebeamer
  • Familiarity with software testing principles; ISTQB certification is an advantage
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
